Library card actions
What the expanded Library card's buttons do — and how Check out, Swap, and Clone differ.
The Library stores finished personas you have checked in from the Gallery. Open a card and the action bar appears above it; the three verbs to know are Check out (the persona moves back to the Gallery), Swap (a one-for-one exchange with a persona already in the Gallery), and Clone (a fresh, editable fork — the original stays put).

| Swap | Exchanges this persona with a locked persona in the Gallery, one that occupies the same type of slot (archetype or custom). A true one-for-one rotation for a full bench: the incoming persona takes the slot, the displaced one is checked in to the Library in its place, and nothing is lost. Free. |
| Download Persona Kits | Downloads an NT Persona Kit. This is a collection of files including those created when the persona’s design was locked and the persona was synthesized plus the files needed to deploy the persona to a specific agent runtime environment. The menu item becomes available after the persona’s first deployment has been specified and saved. |
The menu

| Persona Overview | Opens the persona’s overview — its Deployments and Persona Kit downloads, read-only while it rests in the Library. |
| Character Study | Opens the persona’s Character Study, a detailed description of what this persona is like. The Character Study can be printed as a PDF from this dialog. |
| Check out | Moves the persona back into an empty Gallery slot of the same kind. It arrives locked and intact — identity, portrait, and all committed Deployments travel with it — and its entry leaves the Library. Free. |
| Clone | Creates a brand-new, unlocked persona in an empty custom or draft slot, carrying this one’s core personality. The copy starts fresh — no name, no portrait, no Deployments — and the Library entry stays where it is. This is free but there must be an empty slot in the Gallery to receive it. |
| Sharing… | Opens the Sharing dialog. The Library is also where a Gift or Transfer offer is made. |
| Portrait… | Opens the portrait picker for this persona. |
| Discard | Permanently discards the entry from the Library, after a warning. It does not return to any slot. |
Check out and Swap both need a suitable Gallery slot — empty for Check out, occupied and locked for Swap — and the card tells you when none qualifies.
