The Gallery
The Gallery is where persona's under development reside. You create and edit new persona's using editors accessible right from the card face. Once a persona is locked you can access advanced features like sharing personas with other NeoThymos users or portrait swapping and regeneration.
Purpose
The Gallery is the heart of NeoThymos. It is where personas live while they are being designed, synthesized, locked and deployed. Cards representing personas either appear on a sliding carousel as normal sized cards or, if selected, as Expanded Cards. A persona’s Core Personality and Communication Style can be edited directly from a card on the carousel, while the expanded card view provides full access to the persona’s action bar and action menu.
Slots, Libraries and Subscription Levels
Most account levels (Hobbyist and above) include Gallery ‘slots’ for at least one archetype persona and one fully custom persona, as well as a ‘Draft’ slot. All subscription accounts also include a Library - the archive into which you move locked personas you have created - a growing collection of personas each with its own bespoke synthetic personality.
The creation of a new Persona begins with an unoccupied card slot in the Gallery. There are two types of Gallery slots that can be used to create deployable personas; archetype slots and custom slots. Selecting an empty slot begins the process of creating the named type of persona. From its slot in the Gallery you can edit its identity, its core personality, and it’s communication style. The Staging area is where you Lock the persona and Deploy it.
Once each month, when you have designed a persona, locked it and deployed the generated files to an agent runtime environment(s), it is time to move it into the Library. You do this from the Gallery using Send to Library on the action menu of the persona card. This uses a Persona Credit.
Persona cards in the Gallery
Throughout NeoThymos, Agent/Character persona’s are represented as cards. In the Gallery, persona cards occupy a limited number of slots on a carousel. The number of slots depend on the account level.
Selecting a card expands the card and exposes it’s back. Touching the center of the card flips it back again.
You can drag and drop persona cards to reorder them. There are cards for both archetype and custom personas. Each custom card represents a unique persona, one with a bespoke synthetic personality, that you design. The number of active card slots in your Gallery is limited (determined by account level). When you expand a card in the Gallery an action bar will appear above the card. The action bar contains all the persona actions supported from the Gallery.
Fanciful persona portraits serve as a means of visual identification and indexing and with a larger number of cards this can be very helpful. If you prefer not to use portraits on cards you can replace them with the custom sigil (Persona Knot) that is generated for each persona when it is synthesized. You do this in settings.
Using the Library frees up a Gallery slot so it can continue working for you. (You have a much larger number of card slots in your Library.)
